During my recent romantic escape to Hotel Wacker, the experience was delightful from start to finish. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Lahr, making it a perfect base for exploring the charming surroundings, including the city park where the annual Chrysanthema flower exhibition takes place-just a 15-minute stroll away. The breakfast surpassed my expectations with a superb selection that ensured I started each day on a high note. I must mention the wonderful staff, especially the lady at check-in who was not only cheerful but also genuinely helpful, elevating our stay with her warm hospitality. The service extended beyond the front desk, as two lovely ladies assisted us with our luggage, showcasing that personal touch that travelers cherish. Though my photography often takes me to the rugged landscapes and ancient ruins of Greece, this brief getaway reminded me of the beauty in small, personalized moments often found in such charming accommodations. For travelers seeking a homely yet refined atmosphere with a taste of local culture, Hotel Wacker undoubtedly delivers.
